I offer a sliding scale for my clients for a few reasons.

First, I recognize that everyone deserves high-quality, evidence-based doula support regardless of socioeconomic status. I also realize the disparities and systemic presences that bar large populations from receiving this care including systematic racism and oppression, access to quality health care, and discrimination due to gender and sexual orientation. 

​

Secondly, I set my full fee based on the needs of my own family and my belief in the value and importance of this work. However, I am also passionate about bringing doula support to everyone who desires that support. My sliding scale is designed to help families find where they fall within the tiers above and receive the care they deserve. 

​

I also believe that offering a sliding scale is one way in which I can encourage economic justice. I trust that each client will pay what they can and that they have thought about the value of my doula support. Each individual's needs will vary so I offer a range for each tier. During our initial consultation, we can talk through where you might fall on the sliding scale and set up payment plan as well.

By paying more if you are able, you are allowing me to also support clients on the other end of the spectrum. By paying in the middle, you are allowing me to support my family and do the work I love, and by paying lower know that we are working together to support each other and grow as a community.

I also work with Be Here Village Registry where you can register your doula services for others to contribute to. Instead of or in addition to a traditional baby registry, Be Her Village makes it easy to get the support you desire and deserve without the stress.
