Meet The Doula

Hello! I’m Eva: Full-Spectrum Doula Serving the Michiana area (Northern Indiana/Southern Michigan). I have been passionate about birth work since I was a teenager. For years, I worked with families across my local community as a full-time nanny. Eventually, I followed my passion for birth work and helping women in our local community at Hannah’s House of Michiana.

Then, in the Fall of 2022, I welcomed my son earthside in one of the most beautiful and transformative moments in my life. Since his birth, I knew my passion for birth and early postpartum work was calling me too strongly to ignore. I began my work as a doula in my local community.

Whatever your birth or postpartum journey will look like, I want to offer you my support through this sacred time. I value an evidence-based approach the puts the parents at the center of their birthing experience. You are the source of knowledge, inner strength, and informed decision making. My role is to help support, protect, and advocate for your birth goals!

My mission: To protect and support the sacredness and sanctity of birth and postpartum.

My philosophy: I provide every birthing person with non-judgmental support during their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum transformation. I value an evidence-based approach that reflects the strength and sacredness of birth and matrescene/patresence (birth of the mother/father) so that parents can enter birth with confidence in their inner birthing goddess.

Birth is a transformative time in families lives. All families should have the continuous support, unbiased resources/information, and care they need throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period.
I am an LGBTQ+ friendly and transgender safe space. All family types are welcome here!
All births are created equal. I support all types of labor and labor decisions.
Families should be given information to make informed choices throughout their parenting journey
