Service Description

My birth Doula Support Package includes: Two prenatal visits where we can focus on: - Discussing your ideal birth experience - Discussing and working through any fears or anxieties - Discussing and practicing comfort techniques - Running through the stages and phases of labor  - Creating a birth and/or postpartum plan You also receive my continuous support via phone/text from the time you hire me until 6 weeks PP. I go on-call from 38-42 weeks gestation for your labor. Ways I can support you physically in labor include but are not limited to:  - Massage/counter pressure - Acupressure - Birthing ball positions  - Suggesting and assisting with position changes to improve comfort or fetal positioning - Creating a calming environment (lights, curtains, etc) - Water therapy (bath, shower) - Assisting with mindfulness and visualization - Hydrating and nutrition suggestions and support - Hands on infant feeding support - Anything else you feel will help you have the positive birth experience you desire After your birth, I provide a Postpartum Follow-up visit(s) within the first three weeks PP. During this visit I can (but am not limited to):  Check on breastfeeding progress (should you choose to breastfeed), Discuss questions or concerns, Help you debrief after the birth, Assist with some light housework and tidying (get things back in order), Prepare a meal (should you want help with that), Care for baby while you shower or sleep, Assist with anything you feel will help you settle in and feel supported better in the postpartum period.
