Your Postpartum Doula provides: -Free Consultation & Free Prenatal Appointment to create your PP Care Plan -Support in the mother’s recovery after labor. -Looking for signs that could indicate postnatal mood disorders/helping you find resources if needed to recover from PP mood disorders -Nonjudgmental emotional support, listening and helping to process the birth story of both parents. -Partner support for the non-birthing partner to emotionally adjust into their parenthood role. -Support with older siblings, child-care, and introducing a new baby into the family. -Basic Lactation and infant feeding support. Referrals to Certified IBCLC if needed. -Newborn care support and education! -Helps Parents bond with new baby -Mothering the mother through proper nutrition, hydration, and self-care -Help with baby’s laundry, nursery organization, changing and feeding stations. -Light housekeeping such as dishes, laundry, sweeping, simple organization -Grocery pickup -Referrals to local resources such as parenting classes, pediatricians, lactation support, and support groups. -A decreased likelihood of Postpartum Mood Disorders with the help of a postpartum doula. -And So much more!
