Hello clients and dear friends,
I wanted to take some time today to share some recent updates to Luna Natal Doula Care.
First and foremost, my area of service will be shifting slightly as I have recently moved to Elkhart, Indiana from Cassopolis, Michigan.
Overall, my radius is staying the same with the small change of no longer clients planning to birth at Bronson Kalamazoo or Corewell St. Joseph hospitals in Michigan.
It has been a true blessing to serve to many clients in these areas. I will continue to offer backup support to my local doulas in these areas as able. However, the distance for regular birth attendance in these areas will be too far for me to sustain. For any past clients who may reach out as a repeat clients, I can evaluate on a case-by-case basis or happily help you find another amazing doula in your area.
My radius will also extend further into Indiana to a few areas in Indiana I did not previously serve or served with limited availability including: the edge of the Warsaw area, Argos, Plymouth, and nearby regions.
Birth Centers I currently serve include:
New Songs Birth Center, Union MI
Blessed Beginnings Birth Center, Nappanee IN
New Eden Birth Center, Topeka IN
Hospitals I currently serve include:
Memorial Hospital, South Bend IN
St. Joe Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka IN
Goshen Hospital, Goshen IN
Elkhart General Hospital, Elkhart IN
Corewell Hospital, Niles MI
Three Rivers Health Hospital, Three Rivers MI
Porter Northwest Health, Valparaiso IN
Franciscan Health, Michigan City IN
Northwest Health, Laporte IN
Community Hospital of Bremen, Bremen IN
Among a few others!
I currently serve homebirths within 1 hour and 10 minutes of Elkhart Indiana!
Postpartum Services
Secondly, in preparation for my second baby's arrival, I will no longer be taking postpartum clients for the foreseeable future other than occasional postpartum work with birth clients or close friends.
Childbirth Classes
Lastly, I will be branching out primarily into private and group childbirth classes within the first year postpartum and evaluating when I will return to attending births. I do not anticipate attending births until 9 to 12 months postpartum. However, I welcome all inquires as this may change at any point and I am always happy to help you find the best fit for your needs if I myself am unable to provide birth doula care.
With love,
Eva Monhaut-Jenkins
